Guidance for Submission of Abstracts
Abstracts should not exceed 300 words, using the font Times New Roman 12 pt. All abstracts have to be submitted in Macedonian or in English.
All submissions should include objectives, method, results, conclusions and key words. The line spacing should be 1.5. Those submitting abstracts
should identify which of these conference topics their submission addresses:
a) Neurodevelopmental disorders: Autism spectrum disorders, ADHD;
b) Intellectual disability;
c) Mood disorders;
d) Psychotic disorders;
e) Psychopathology of adolescence;
f) Child abuse and neglect: preventive, therapeutic and forensic aspects;
g) Trauma & Stress;
h) Substance-related and addictive disorders;
Authors: When submitting the abstract, please choose one corresponding author. This author will be responsible for receiving correspondence.
All communications will only be sent to this author at the email address provided. All names of authors should be written under the title with
their full name and without titles. Name of corresponding author should be underlined. Beside the name of the author there should be a number
in superscript identifying the Institution the author/s are affiliated to.
Institution the author is affiliated to: The name of the institution comes next to the names of the authors. There should be a separate number
for each institution, next to which there should be the name of the city and country.
A confirmation email acknowledging the receipt of an abstract will be sent to the author at the email address provided upon successful submission.
Presenters will be notified of abstract acceptance or rejection and the form of presentation by email no later than 01September 2014.
When submitting the abstract, please choose one presenting author. This is the author who will be used to confirm registration.
The presenting author may be the same as the corresponding author. The official conference language is Macedonian and English.
a) Poster: A display area will be provided. It is expected that the author will be present at the poster location
during the specified presentation time(s) to discuss the contents with the conference participants.
Further instructions will be provided in the abstract acceptance letter.
b) Oral Presentation The time allocated for oral presentations is 15 minutes.
c) Workshop The lenth of a workshop is 75 minutes. A workshop is a session involving interactive learning and the dissemination of training and/or skills.
Abstracts intended for workshops should indicate how interactive learning will be incorporated into the presentation.
Authors will be asked to select their preferred presentation format. However, the Conference Scientific Committee reserves the right to make
the final determination regarding the presentation format of accepted abstracts.
